Rick Reo is an instructional designer for the Division of Instructional Technology at George Mason University and provides broad range support for faculty, staff, and student use of instructional technologies. He has been leading and supporting Web 2.0 initiatives across Mason's regional campuses, such as iTunes U, multiuser blogging programs, and projects related to the pedagogy of social software tools and open educational content. Rick has two Master's degrees: one in Cultural Anthropology and a more recent one in Education. He is an adjunct instructor in the College of Education and Human Development and the Department of Applied Information Technology at GMU. Rick is GMU’s interim director for the New Media Consortium.
